26 weeks

Baby boy Sarbaugh continues to grow! We all had a wonderful Christmas and holiday week in Crystal Lake. Super Tiny got showered with gifts and loved every minute of being around people. I have never felt him move so much! I am really starting to think we are going to have quite the social butterfly on our hands once he is born.

At 26 weeks I read that Super Tiny is the size of an eggplant, and is starting to open and close his eyes in there. We are also officially under the 100 day mark! April 5th is getting so close!

Last "Just the 2 of Us" Christmas

Todd and I have an annual tradition of doing our own "little Christmas" before we head back to spend the actual holiday with our families.

The tradition is pretty simple, we play Christmas music, light Christmas scented candles, and exchange gifts and stockings. This year we added a hot beverage and cookie element, atop seasonal plates.

Even though it's still just the two of us, we couldn't resist including the Super Tiny on the action. As you can see, he made out pretty well for himself. I can only imagine what Christmas will be like next year!

Nursery WIP

Our nursery has been a work in progress for weeks! Todd has made great progress. The freshly painted gray walls, assembled crib and dresser are all the handiwork of Papa Sarbaugh.

The zigzag rug and yet-to-be-hung screen prints, on the other hand, were all me :)

Next on the to-do list includes putting together the bookshelf, having Babies R' Us ship our rocking chair, and ordering some cute (but not too "cutesy") wall decal.

More pictures to come as our Super Tiny masterpiece comes together!

A glimpse into my future.

This past Saturday I got to wake up bright and early and go cheer on Todd's basketball team in a tournament in the 'burbs. The little 8th graders were hilarious and adorable all at the same time. It was definitely something to realize that one day, little Super Tiny will likely be active in sports, and our weekends will be full of tournaments, practices, and games. Freaky!
