First Christmas

Despite the ailments Marcus was suffering from, he managed to have a wonderful first Christmas.

Thank you to grandma and grandpa Tonucci, Tia Romi, Tio Craig, and Ron and Charlene Krupitzer for sharing in this magical moment!

On to Christmas #2 with grandma and grandpa Sarbaugh!

No Fun

Well we made it to Michigan, unfortunately so did a pesky cough. After a night up coughing we called the nurse line at our pediatric office and instructed to take Marcus to the ER.

After an exam, nasal swab, X-ray, and nebulizer treatment, we were finally sent home with a diagnosis of double ear infections and bronchiolitis or RVS. We've started the little man on antibiotic and home nebulizer treatments and hope he gets better in time for Santa.

Throughout the entire ordeal Marcus remained a smiley little champ. Except during the nebulizer, we hate that thing.

Ho Ho Ho! Here we go!

We hit the road yesterday for our first trip to Chicago with Marcus. It worked out perfectly!

He slept for 3 of the 5.5 hours and once he woke up I was able to keep him fed, happy and entertained until we made it to grandma and grandpa Sarbaugh's house.

Tonight we fly out to Michigan, fingers crossed!

Santa Baby

Marcus got to visit downtown Minneapolis and see the Macy's auditorium show with his cousins, Ethan and Amanda. He had a blast with them. However, he was slightly less impressed with the main man himself, Santa!

The Most Wonderful Time

Marcus was not quite sure what to think about the first big snow fall. I was too lazy to take him outside (sooooo many layers to put on the squirmy little guy), so we enjoyed the views from inside in our pjs.

First Love

Marcus was reunited with his first love, Myla. Myla's and her mom were in our Amma New Mama class.

Marcus couldn't get enough of Myla's cuteness.

7 Month Milestones

Mr. Marcus is growing like a weed! I went through his clothes again this weekend and it is ridiculous the amount of things he no longer fits into. One thing we don't quite fit into is the winter coat I bought him - but that will come.

Today marked his 7 months on earth (outside the belly), and it was full of milestones!
-We had our second swimming class and hated it slightly less (two smiles vs none).
-We got super close to crawling on our own. Went up on all 4s and rocked back and forth numerous times.
-We surprised mama by sitting up on our own after waking up from a nap. Dad had to move the crib down to the lowest position since they say once babies sit up on their own they will start to pull up on anything they can get their hands on.
-We are getting our pincher grasp down. Blueberries and cereal puffs are going down the hatch ladies and gentlemen!

I can only imagine what the next 7 months have in store for us.....

First Finger Food Moment

Marcus really loves trying to get these Cheerios into his mouth. We haven't had any success yet, but we are having fun practicing!

Er "happy" Halloween

Marcus enjoyed his first Halloween, well, mostly. He liked watching all of the trick or treaters come to the door. But as you can see from the video, he was not as keen on the daycare Halloween parade.

Baptism Weekend

We just wrapped up an amazing weekend with out family, celebrating Marcus's baptism.

We had so much fun playing indoors, playing in the park, and dressing up for Halloween.

We were so sad to see our family go, but are so grateful to have had them all travel so far to spend this momentous occasion with us.
